formació molt francesa, a base de llegir molta de la seva literatura.

face="Times New Roman">Un cop casada amb Josep Marlet, als anys trenta =
s’establí
a Sant Cugat, on va viure fins el seu traspàs l’any 2004. Aquí va =
començar la
seva primera novel·la, iniciant la seva vocació literària. Quan =
tenia escrites
més de vint novel·les sense publicar, va pendre la determinació de =
presentar una
de les seves obres, <I>Efún, </I>al Premi Elisenda de Montcada, que va =
guanyar.
Era l’any 1954 i tenia 24 anys. Va ser el veritable inici d’una =
etapa realment
fructífera de la que ha estat la primera escriptora de Sant Cugat.

novel·les,
entre les que cal destacar <I>Casino veraniego</I> de l’any 1967, =
ambientada al
casino de Sant Cugat, <I>La mujer del colonial</I> l’any 1961, basada =
en la vida
a l’Àfrica del que fou alcalde de Sant Cugat, Josep Barnils i =
d’altres basades
en altres fets reals de l’antic poble. Entre obres publicades i =
d’altres
inèdites el gruix de la seva producció literària és de més de =
cinquanta obres.
Amb la novel·la <I>Los Galiano</I> va quedar finalista del Premi =
Planeta de
l’any, amb <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Barcelona en =
llamas</I><SPAN
